At Tesla, our Parts Advisors play a vital role in service operations, providing critical support to both Technicians and customers in our mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy.

As a Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for sourcing parts from Distribution Centers and other Service Center locations, allocating them to vehicle service appointments, and monitoring inventory within the parts system.

You will also be responsible for communicating parts updates and availability with relevant team members, reviewing upcoming appointments, and ensuring they are properly prepared and documented in our system.

Additionally, you will be responsible for processing and returning warranty part shipments for quality assurance, including handling hazardous materials and high-voltage batteries.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing internal orders for shipment to other service center locations
  • Receiving, inspecting, and putting away stock and special-order parts
  • Escalating parts issues from internal or external suppliers in collaboration with Regional Parts Manager
  • Picking up and transporting parts using van or forklift, engaging third parties when necessary

Requirements include:

  • Ability to communicate, read, and write effectively in the English language on all levels
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Specific vision abilities required include: ability to identify parts, operate systems, and identify potential safety hazards in the parts department
