About the Role

South Shore Subaru, a proud member of the VIP Automotive Group of Long Island, seeks an experienced Vehicle Exchange Manager. This full-time opportunity includes:

  • A positive working environment with opportunities for growth through training and advancement from within the organization.
  • A competitive salary range of $75,000 - $120,000, inclusive of bonuses and commission.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Serve as a liaison to customers while their vehicles are being serviced.
  • Discuss customers' needs and alternative options, potentially including new vehicle purchases.
  • Appraise eligible vehicles with the aim of purchasing or having customers purchase or lease another vehicle.
  • Making outbound calls to generate appointments and educate guests on available options through Vehicle Exchange.
  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly activities in Vin Solutions and develop relationships with guests.
  • Lead customers through the entire exchange process, including financial paperwork, and follow up after the exchange.
  • Manage all aspects of the vehicle exchange department and produce 10 packets per day for distribution.
  • Introduce customers to sales staff and work closely with the used car department to identify necessary cards for appraisals.
Requirements and Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

  • Strong follow-up abilities and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in vehicle appraisal within the current market and high organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, team-building abilities, and leadership qualities.
  • Self-motivation and a drive for success, as well as the ability to establish and maintain customer relationships.
  • Prior experience in automotive sales or retail is preferred, and bilingual skills are highly valued.

The estimated salary for this role is in the range of $97,800 - $145,200 annually, based on location and industry standards.
