Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Operations Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the activities of the manufacturing process engineering function.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process Engineering: Work with staff to plan and design methods to maintain, improve or enhance existing manufacturing processes.
  • New Product Development: Responsible for development and validation of new production processes as well as the upgrade of existing production processes.
  • Collaboration: Work with other manufacturing and engineering departments to ensure all new products are producible.
  • Analysis: Assist in analyzing and reviewing manufacturing budgets, schedules, and production requirements.
  • Problem-Solving: Develop and recommend revisions or enhancements to schedules, human and monetary resource allocations, and production standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
  • Certification: Certification/Certificate in lean Manufacturing.
  • Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience in Manufacturing Process Engineering.
  • Team Management: 5+ years of new product development (NPD) in a team environment.
  • Lean Manufacturing: 5+ years applying Lean Manufacturing principles in a manufacturing environment.
  • Six Sigma: 5+ years applying Six Sigma (DMAIC) tools.
  • Leadership: 4+ years managing/supervising direct reports.

Compensation: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum based on experience.
