Job Summary

This is a challenging role for a seasoned professional who can lead risk control initiatives and develop strategies to identify, address, and improve property skills in a specific region. The successful candidate will work closely with the underwriting team to provide consultative services while supporting project completion.

About the Role
The Property Technical Director will be responsible for conducting complex and high-value property surveys, coaching aligned learners, and developing strategies to enhance Liberty Mutual's leadership position in the safety field. This includes providing expert technical support to other loss prevention employees, monitoring and evaluating technical quality, and participating in acquiring and retaining profitable business.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site evaluations, evaluate data, and create/implement service plans to control customers' source of risk, loss, and/or costs.
  • Provide expert technical support to other loss prevention employees by advising them about resources available, legislation, and applicable regulations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the technical quality of loss prevention services provided by less experienced consultants.
  • Participate in actively acquiring and retaining profitable business.
  • Identify new business opportunities for loss prevention services and may design and execute programs that improve results and increase the number and quality of services customers choose to buy.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • At least 10 years of directly related consulting experience in loss prevention, progressive safety/health field.
  • Candidates are typically working towards (or obtained) an advanced degree and/or professional certification in one or more of the following areas: CFPS, CSP, ARM, CRM, CPCU, CIH, or CPE.

We offer a competitive salary range of $103,400 - $174,800 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
