We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Laboratory Assistant to join our team on the Statesboro Campus. As a member of our department, you will play a vital role in supporting the research and teaching activities of our faculty members.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications is also essential.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the instructor in the chemistry laboratory department
  • Answer student questions
  • Grade lab reports
  • Assist with safety issues
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the laboratory and equipment

Shift Specifics

* Up to 6 hours per week

* Flexible with schedule of availability

Required Qualifications

  • Educational Requirements
    • * Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College

  • Preferred Education
    • * Completion of 3 credit hours in CHEM courses
