Job Title: Certified Medication Aide

We are seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Las Brisas Rehabilitation and Wellness Suites. As a Certified Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients.

Job Summary:

The Certified Medication Aide will work in harmony with the nursing staff to prepare and administer medications to patients. This role requires a strong passion for patient care and compassion for others.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and administer oral, nasal, eye, ear, and topical medications in accordance with facility policies and procedures and state law.
  • Provide additional, varied care services to patients as instructed and under the supervision of nursing staff.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a licensed CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) in good standing with the state (as required).
  • Must have a current Medication Administrative Certificate approved by the state (as required) (Certified Medication Aide).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • 1+ years of experience as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) preferred.
