Warehouse Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Sysco Foods. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts to select and transport products
• Label products using Sysco Order Selection (SOS) technology
• Palletize products to build customer orders and deliver them safely and efficiently
• Work in areas with temperature and humidity variations based on local weather conditions
• Hand select orders within various warehouse environments
• Operate assigned Sysco Order Selection (SOS) units to create labels and correctly place them on products
• Stack products on pallets following proper selecting procedures
• Engage electric pallet jacks or forklifts to transport products
• Stage pallets for loading on proper dock locations
• Follow SyscoSafe preferred work methods at all times
• Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections
• Shrink-wrap product on the loading dock
• Attend all required company meetings

Requirements

• Frequently lift product that weighs 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds
• Regularly reach up to 72 inches
• Constantly bend and twist while operating a pallet jack and/or forklift
