Human Resources Manager

At Adams Keegan, we are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to support our employees and maintain a positive work culture.
The successful candidate will be responsible for serving as the first point of contact for all HR issues, fostering positive relationships with employees, and addressing any concerns or conflicts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as the first point of contact for all HR issues for employees and managers.
- Fostering positive relationships with employees and addressing any concerns or conflicts.
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from job postings to offer letters, with a focus on recruitment of a diverse workforce, retention of employees, and equitable compensation programs.
- Acting as a strategic partner to the senior management team, providing problem-solving support on critical HR issues.
- Optimizing the HR function, modernizing, and refining key processes and activities aligned toward achieving strategic objectives.
- Managing departmental budget.
- Administering employee benefits programs and assisting employees with inquiries and enrollment, collaborating with external vendors.
- Ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, partnering with Legal Counsel to ensure compliance and mitigate organizational risks.
- Supporting the performance appraisal processes.
- Developing and implementing a talent development program to support employee progression.
- Counseling, coaching, and guiding managers and staff in addressing concerns and complaints, ensuring fair and equitable treatment while maintaining compliance with local labor regulations and practices.
- Coaching and mentoring fellow colleagues/managers and developing leadership bench strength capable of addressing the challenges of a highly dynamic organization.
- Attending and successfully completing all training required by the Church.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or MA/MS in human resources, organizational development, change management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience.
- SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Employees in this position are expected to sincerely hold the same religious beliefs as expressed by the Church.
