Data Transformation Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Transformation Specialist to join our team at HexaQuEST Global, Inc. as an Informatica ETL Developer.
The successful candidate will participate in the transformation and implementation of critical batch processing within the Compliance tech org in the bank.
The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills and be able to work comfortably as a team player.
As part of an agile scrum team, the candidate will work with users to refine requirements, design and develop high-quality ETL Informatica code, develop Unix scripts and scalable database systems.
The candidate will be expected to be a hands-on architect and developer with the ability to drive design and implementation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement ETL Informatica code for batch processing
- Design and develop Unix scripts and scalable database systems
- Work with users to refine requirements and develop high-quality code
- Participate in agile scrum team and drive design and implementation initiatives
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals
Requirements:
- 10+ years professional experience developing solutions in ETL Informatica (recent experience in version preferred)
- Experience with Oracle database and query performance optimizations
- Experience with data warehousing and OLTP solutions
- Strong in PL/SQL, stored procedures
- Experience with Oracle 19c
- 5-10 years of experience in Unix environment and Shell scripting
- Experience and desire to work in an Agile process (pair programming, daily stand-ups, etc.) Framework (Scrum/Kanban)
- Demonstrable knowledge of problem domain in which they have been working
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work comfortably as a team player
- Experience with domain driven design
- Distributed systems experience
- Relevant industry (Compliance, Entity/Transaction Scanning etc.) experience
- Experience with Java/J2EE technologies
- Experience with JIRA
