Job Summary

Walmart is seeking a highly skilled Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Counsel patients regarding health care and prescription medication needs, providing education and support to promote healthy outcomes.
  • Maintain confidential information and documentation, adhering to company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Administer immunizations and other programs developed by Walmart, in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
