Lead Veterinary Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Veterinary Technician to join our Inpatient Services team at MSPCA Angell. As a leader in emergency veterinary medicine, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our patients, training and mentoring veterinary students and technicians, and contributing to the development of our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care and support to our clinicians
- Train and mentor veterinary students, interns, and technicians
- Develop and implement nursing care protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient hospital operations
- Participate in staff training and professional development programs
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician in emergency medicine
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures
