Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized support to families, including case management, counseling, and advocacy
  • Develop and implement effective service plans that address the unique needs and goals of each family

  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and implementing data-driven solutions
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices and industry trends, applying knowledge and expertise to enhance service quality and efficiency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with vulnerable populations, preferably in a shelter or housing setting
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities

About the Location:

The Family Shelter Service Coordinator will be based at our downtown Seattle location, with occasional travel to other sites and meetings throughout the city. We offer a convenient ORCA pass for unlimited use and sick time accruals according to the Seattle Paid Sick and Safe Time Ordinance.
