Tesla is seeking a highly skilled PLM Technical Expert to join our team and contribute to the development of our innovative products. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for mentoring and supporting our design engineers on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, ensuring seamless integration with change management processes.

You will have a crucial role in delivering our products via tools like CATIA V5, CATIA 3DX, ENOVIA, and 3DEXPERIENCE, while also leveraging your experience in other related applications such as SolidWorks, Revit, Altium, and Cadence.

Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and Support: Provide expert mentoring and support for Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE platform, CATIA V5, and CATIA 3DX, ensuring seamless integration with change management processes.
  • Develop Best Practices: Spearhead the development and dissemination of best practices, methodologies, and workflows to optimize the user experience and efficiency on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
  • Address Knowledge Gaps: Identify and analyze knowledge gaps in CAD and PLM usage across the organization, designing and delivering customized training programs to bridge these gaps.
  • Optimize Engineering Processes: Proactively identify and leverage untapped 3EXPERIENCE features to streamline engineering workflows and enhance overall process efficiency.
  • Align Solutions with Business Goals: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes, gather requirements, and validate solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Vendor and Application Collaboration: Interface with software vendors and internal product teams to facilitate issue resolution and drive continuous improvements and enhancements.
  • Support Request Management: Efficiently monitor, track, and manage support requests using a service desk application, ensuring timely resolution and user satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of progressive experience in the industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of one or more of 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA, ENOVIA, or SolidWorks.
  • Advanced knowledge of ENOVIA Change Management and MQL.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts with clarity through impeccable communication, documentation.
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and project management experience.
  • Excellent customer service approach.
  • Automotive industry experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with numerous CAD/PLM Systems preferred.
  • Prior experience working with global teams.

Expected Compensation:

$92,000 - $168,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits.

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
