Medical Equipment Service Specialist

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Medical Equipment Service Specialist to provide installation, maintenance, and repair services for our dialysis/apheresis and TerumoBCT instrumentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in field service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain dialysis/apheresis and TerumoBCT instrumentation at customer sites
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed
- Schedule and complete service calls within established time requirements
- Provide contract preventative maintenance in accordance with published procedures
- Complete instrumentation training at Baxter's training facility
- Travel extensively (up to 75% overnight travel) to customer sites
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in field service or a related field
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field (or minimum 5 years of experience)
- Familiarity with data analysis concepts and tools such as Excel
- Basic knowledge of relational databases
- IT knowledge on general connectivity, network integration of devices, wireless protocols, mobile network technologies, software support, and cyber security standards
- Understanding in Healthcare IT standards and IoT technologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and draw accurate conclusions based on available information
