Job Description:

We are currently hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist with SHC, you will be supported by our Schools Center of Excellence, a dedicated team of recruiters and employment professionals who understand schools and your unique needs as an SLP.

School Services Speech Language Pathologist Contract Details:

  • Hourly Rate: $57 – $61 per hour
  • Assignment Bonus: $3,000 available *conditions apply; ask recruiter for details
  • Responsibilities: Assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team; develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans; establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Education or Equivalent Experience: A bachelor's degree with equivalent experience is also acceptable.
  • Pennsylvania SLP License: A valid license is required.
  • American Heart Association BLS: Certification is necessary.
  • School Experience: Preferred but not required.
