Job Summary:

As a Field Service Engineer at Tokyo Electron, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will work in a clean room environment, wearing protective clothing, and interact with customers to provide system operation and maintenance training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site installation, troubleshooting, and repair of semiconductor manufacturing equipment
  • Work in a clean room environment, wearing protective clothing
  • Instruct customers on system operation and maintenance
  • Order and install parts as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to lift at least 35 pounds
  • Basic professional communication skills and ability to build constructive workplace relationships
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, or thermodynamics

Work Environment:

Job duties are often performed in small, confined areas in a clean room environment, in stretched awkward positions and/or in high places. Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds is required. May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing. May require the use of Personal Protective Equipment.

Occasional travel to TEL factories, training facilities, and customer locations may be required.
