Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity

Join our team of dedicated professionals at BrightSpring Health Services as a Speech Language Pathologist. We are seeking an experienced SLP to provide functional rehabilitation services in a home and community-based setting.

About the Role

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans that promote functional independence and quality of life for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans and attend staffing meetings and family conferences
• Perform discharge evaluations and make recommendations for home and community safety
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and family members

Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice
• Current CPR certification in accordance with state regulations
• Minimum of one year's work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
