Summary:

As a Quality and Organizational Excellence Leader, you will lead cross-functional quality and process improvement initiatives, serving as a mentor to specialists and analysts. You will influence leaders and lead complex improvement projects, and may supervise specialists, analysts, or administrative support staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional quality and process improvement initiatives, serving as a mentor to specialists and analysts.
  • Provide customer service, facilitating or negotiating in areas of disagreement, and stepping into challenging situations to change the direction by emphasizing empathy and willingness to do the right thing.
  • Identify and drive analytic needs for improvement projects/initiatives, supporting leaders in developing problem charters and selecting the best approach to solve a particular problem.
  • Makes decisions based on analyses and data, challenging leaders and their current processes when improvement is needed, and developing interventions and initiatives based on data.
  • Influence and gain commitment from all members of project teams, identifying resources necessary to meet project needs, and obtaining and maintaining executive support for projects through communication and leadership.
  • Lead/manages/mentors specialists and analysts regarding tools, methodologies, and technologies, providing cross-functional, cross-business, and cross-area work.

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline.

  • No licensure or certification required.
Professional Experience Requirements:

If a Bachelor's degree:
Three (3) years of experience in quality team facilitation, project management, process improvement, or quality data analysis role. Clinical experience associated with leading quality improvement efforts may be assessed as equivalent to direct quality improvement experience both in determining minimum requirements, as well as level of experience.

If a Master's degree:
One (1) year of experience in quality team facilitation, project management, process improvement, or quality data analysis role.
