Adult Outpatient Psychiatrist

Cleveland Clinic Akron General is seeking a board-certified psychiatrist to join its Adult Outpatient Psychiatric Clinics within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
The department provides service lines in Outpatient Adult Psychiatry, Inpatient Adult Psychiatry, Consultation Liaison Psychiatry, Interventional and Addiction Psychiatry in an exciting and progressive academic setting.
The Interventional Psychiatry Service includes ECT, TMS and is starting a Ketamine Service, and is part of the Psychiatric Treatment Resistant Disorder Program (PTRP) advancing excellence in clinical practices.
The department also supports a Department of Psychology with a fellowship in Clinical Psychology.
As a faculty member of the teaching staff, the candidate will have teaching affiliations at OUHCOM and NEOMED.
Duties will include precepting psychiatric residents in the newly founded Psychiatry Residency Program, graduating its inaugural class in July 2025 and carrying 16 available positions.
On-duty services will include precepting residents and medical students with ample multidisciplinary staff support.
Candidates may choose an appointment through the Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute (NI) with an academic appointment through the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine (CCLCM) or through Partners Physician Group (PPG) at Cleveland Clinic Akron General (CCAG).
