Avera Aberdeen Family Physicians is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team in a collaborative and patient-focused environment. This role involves performing medical and clerical duties to support clinic patients, providing opportunities for career growth and competitive compensation.

The ideal candidate will have completed a Medical Assistant program and possess relevant certifications, such as Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through the American Medical Technologist.

This full-time position offers a day shift schedule with 72 hours every 2 weeks, including Monday – Thursday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and Friday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. The hourly range for this position is $19.25 - $27.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Job Description
  • Performs selected medical assistant and clerical duties that assist in care for clinic patients following established standards, practices, and competency.
  • Works collaboratively with other clinic staff to solve practice-related problems.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status.

The estimated salary for this position is $38,500 - $54,700 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek and an hourly range of $19.25 - $27.00 per hour.
