Field Service Technician

Hepaco, a Clean Harbors company in Birmingham, AL, is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team. This role involves performing tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling hazardous materials.
Responsibilities:- Ensure health and safety is the top priority and follow policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Engage in strenuous physical labor, including lifting and pulling heavy objects, and operate light and heavy equipment.
- Wear and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) and work in various temperatures and weather conditions.
- Work in atmospheres and locations with potential exposure to hazardous, toxic, or corrosive agents.
- Perform sampling activities, calibration of meters, and assist in field sampling.
- Reliable transportation and ability to perform physical functions required for the job.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, and be on-call for emergency response situations.
- Valid driver's license and previous relevant labor experience.
