Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Bethesda Health. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing essential patient care, ensuring the comfort and safety of our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and safety under the guidance of a Charge Nurse. You will also be responsible for documenting patient records, monitoring vital signs, and participating in educational opportunities to enhance your skills and promote quality care within the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care support including services related to hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety as directed by the Charge Nurse.
- Document patient records accurately and maintain confidentiality.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the Charge Nurse promptly.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed.
- Ensure the comfort and safety of residents by responding to call lights and addressing their needs promptly.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, be actively certified as a Nurse Assistant in the state where you will be working, and hold current CPR certification. Long-term care experience is preferred, but not required. Excellent communication skills, time management abilities, and physical stamina are essential for this position.
What We Offer
Bethesda Health offers a competitive salary range of $34,500 - $44,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, prescription, and life insurance, as well as 403b, daily pay, bonuses, career advancement opportunities, and holiday pay. We also offer regular continuing education classes and in-services to help you advance your skills and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
