Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician to join our Rehabilitation Department at Lawrence General Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the clinical staff in their daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed therapists in implementing rehab treatment programs, ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction and comfort.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment, adhering to hospital standards and protocols.
  • Prepare, clean, and organize rehab equipment, modalities, and supplies, ensuring adequate inventory and timely requisition.
  • Escort patients in/out of treatment areas and assist with ambulation, transfers, and positioning under the supervision of licensed therapists.
  • Perform basic clerical duties, including typing, scheduling, recording statistics, filing, copying/scanning, and chart reviews as directed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Demonstrated strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well as a member of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in the healthcare field
  • Bilingual speaking English/Spanish with interpreter certificate and/or ability to pass language screening for Medical Interpreter Certificate course
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000-$55,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
