Clinical Pharmacy Specialist

Covenant Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to join our team in Inpatient Services. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing clinical pharmacy support to our patients and healthcare providers.
Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical pharmacy services to our inpatient population, including drug therapy management and quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
- Develop and implement clinical pathways and guidelines to improve patient outcomes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary committees and workgroups to drive quality improvement and best practices.
- Precept and mentor pharmacy students and residents to advance their skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of educational programs and materials for healthcare professionals and patients.
- Current licensure as a pharmacist in Tennessee.
- Strong clinical pharmacy background and experience in inpatient settings.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
