Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Job Summary: As a seasoned construction project manager, you will oversee the datacenter construction process, ensuring timely completion, quality control, and budget adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contractor Management: Collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to select, contract, and oversee various needs.
  2. Quality Assurance: Supervise contractors and subcontractors to guarantee work meets quality standards and specifications.
  3. Leadership in Planning: Lead initial planning stages, developing detailed job descriptions, scopes of work, and material requirements.
  4. Project Coordination: Schedule and coordinate projects efficiently, meeting deadlines and maintaining budgets.
  5. Communication and Documentation: Facilitate regular meetings, updating stakeholders on project progress and documenting updates.
  6. Budget Management: Prepare budget estimates, communicate progress to leadership, and adjust as needed.
  7. Safety Compliance: Ensure safety standards are followed on-site, meeting all safety codes during construction.
  8. Issue Resolution: Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve problems, complaints, or issues arising during construction.
  9. Emergency Management: Manage and lead actions required due to delays, emergencies, or bad weather at construction sites.
  10. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  1. Global Communication: Effectively communicate with overseas team members.
  2. Flexibility and Commitment: Willingness to work beyond regular hours to coordinate activities and share information with overseas teams.
  3. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering with at least 8 years of construction and project management experience. PMP certification preferred.
  4. Technical Expertise: Familiarity with medium and low voltage power supply systems, electrical engineering background preferred.
  5. Contractual Understanding: Thorough understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations.
  6. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software, ability to interpret engineering and construction drawings.
  7. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to make intelligent and quick decisions under pressure.
  9. Multitasking and Time Management: Ability to multitask while analyzing and solving problems, with strong time management skills.
  10. Detail Orientation: Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
