Plant Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Plant Mechanic to join our team at Avant. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Responsibilities- Conduct routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs on industrial machinery, including motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyor systems, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Use diagnostic tools and meters to test and evaluate equipment functionality
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance and repair schedules
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
- Document maintenance and repair activities using computerized maintenance management systems
- Inspect, test, and clean equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean criminal background
- Clean drug screening
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum of 3 years of machinery maintenance experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with industrial maintenance
Salary: $24.50 - $26.00 per hour. Benefits include health insurance. Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday. Experience: 2 years of industrial maintenance required. Driver's License preferred.
