Lead Automation QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automation frameworks to ensure efficient testing of complex systems.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cucumber and Java, ensuring high-quality code and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize automation testing needs, driving the automation agenda and ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of SQA processes and methodologies, applying this knowledge to drive quality and efficiency throughout the SDLC.
  • Provide expert-level guidance on automation testing best practices, ensuring that testing strategies are aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Linux/UNIX environments, ensuring seamless integration with automation testing.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize automation testing needs, driving the automation agenda and ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of banking and finance domain knowledge, ensuring that testing strategies are aligned with business objectives.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in implementing QA strategies.
  • Proficient in IT industry with proven experience in QA.
  • Experience in automation testing, with a strong focus on Cucumber and Java.
  • Strong experience in writing SQL queries and working with Linux/UNIX environments.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask, with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience working with Quality Center and Jira, with a strong understanding of SQA processes and methodologies.
  • Experience testing Java-based three-tier applications deployed on Linux.
  • Experience testing high-volume financial exchange systems, particularly clearing applications.
