About the Role

We are seeking a Security Specialist to join our team at Allied Universal. As a trusted security professional, you will be responsible for safeguarding personnel, property, and sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality security services, ensuring the protection of people, assets, and classified information with professionalism and discretion
  • Conduct regular patrols within and around the facility to identify potential security risks and respond promptly to any incidents
  • Greet guests and employees, escort visitors and contractors to secure entry points, and maintain accurate records of access
  • Foster a culture of safety and security by reporting concerns, breaches, or unusual circumstances to clients and/or other security personnel in a clear and concise manner
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience in a related field
  • A Department of Defense (DoD) position-appropriate level security clearance is required, demonstrating stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment
  • Licensing requirements may apply, depending on state and/or local laws and regulations
  • Minimum 3 years of security experience on a DoD-cleared site, prior military experience, or relevant certifications
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer service abilities
  • Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative wireless technology at client-specific sites
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior law enforcement or armed security experience
  • An Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
