  • Responsibilities and Duties
  • Administer, develop, test, implement, and maintain operating systems and related software.
  • Establish and implement standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software, operating system, and networking problems.
  • Schedule and monitor system backups and perform data recoveries when necessary.
  • Install hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, and web page design, interface, and updates, and local system design documentation.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security tools, including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services.
  • Train staff on software applicable to their position, assist customers with information technology, monitor system configuration (hardware and software), and provide instruction on computers and applications.
  • Qualifications and Skills
  • Hold a DoD 8570 IAT II or higher certification.
  • Have a Bachelor's level degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
  • Have 3 years professional experience in systems administration.
  • Hold an Active Secret security clearance.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
