Job Description

As a Retail Operations Quality Assurance Specialist, your primary objective will be to provide excellent customer service by maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting store environment. You will be expected to:

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in all areas of the store, including the produce, market, and deli departments.
  • Clean and maintain the store's mop room, ensuring it is well-organized and equipped with necessary supplies.
  • Assist in implementing cost-saving initiatives and improving labor productivity.
  • Follow daily checklists and sanitation standards set by Food Lion to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • The ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
  • The ability to use technical information to solve problems.
Benefits

  • An estimated annual salary of $45,000 - $55,000 based on location and experience.

Other Responsibilities

In addition to the above responsibilities, as a Retail Operations Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be expected to:

  • Report any associate or customer accidents in accordance with established Food Lion procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Successfully complete Computer-Based Training (CBT) courses and other assigned duties.
