Job Title: Credit Analyst

Trustar Bank is seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to join our team. As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business and financial records to assess credit risk and make recommendations on commercial loan decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough credit and risk reviews and analyses of financial statements, tax returns, and other business records.
  • Develop and perform information needs assessments to identify necessary documents and information for credit and risk reviews.
  • Underwrite commercial loans, reviewing and analyzing financial statements, tax returns, and other necessary business records.
  • Conduct credit, financial, and industry analyses to determine credit risk and make recommendations on loan approvals.
  • Structure loans or review and recommend structure, terms, and pricing for commercial loans.
  • Identify and evaluate risks and mitigates, making determinations and recommendations on credit risk grades.
  • Monitor borrowing base/covenant compliance and approve advance requests on Line of Credit.
  • Partner with Loan Officers to ensure proper loan documentation and financial information collection from customers.
  • Order and review property appraisals to evaluate collateral value for transactions under consideration.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum three to five years of experience in commercial and real estate credit analysis.
  • Thorough understanding of financial accounting, loan structuring, legal, compliance, and market risk-related issues involved in credit approval.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel).
