Job Title: Credit AnalystTrustar Bank is seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to join our team. As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business and financial records to assess credit risk and make recommendations on commercial loan decisions.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough credit and risk reviews and analyses of financial statements, tax returns, and other business records.
- Develop and perform information needs assessments to identify necessary documents and information for credit and risk reviews.
- Underwrite commercial loans, reviewing and analyzing financial statements, tax returns, and other necessary business records.
- Conduct credit, financial, and industry analyses to determine credit risk and make recommendations on loan approvals.
- Structure loans or review and recommend structure, terms, and pricing for commercial loans.
- Identify and evaluate risks and mitigates, making determinations and recommendations on credit risk grades.
- Monitor borrowing base/covenant compliance and approve advance requests on Line of Credit.
- Partner with Loan Officers to ensure proper loan documentation and financial information collection from customers.
- Order and review property appraisals to evaluate collateral value for transactions under consideration.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum three to five years of experience in commercial and real estate credit analysis.
- Thorough understanding of financial accounting, loan structuring, legal, compliance, and market risk-related issues involved in credit approval.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel).
