Job Summary

As a key member of our Receiving Department at Restaurant Depot, the Assistant Receiving Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise into and out of our facilities. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions
  1. Verify the accuracy of item descriptions and counts for all incoming and outgoing shipments.
  2. Accurately record and file all incoming and outgoing Purchase Orders.
  3. Ensure the Receiving CRT is entering all receivings on a daily basis and maintaining up-to-date records.
  4. Unload, verify, record, and label all cross-dock pickups.
  5. Conduct regular self-audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

This role requires a Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. Additionally, the candidate must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment with constant exposure to outside temperatures.
