About the Role
This position will directly impact the history of space exploration. As part of the Blue Origin Engines business unit, you will lead the design, development, and flight of engines and propulsion systems. You will be responsible for the complete product life-cycle, including initial requirements, design, manufacturing, test support, test data reviews, processing non-conforming hardware, and flight support.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead BE-3U or BE-7 combustion devices through design, development, production, and flight.
• Develop strong technical fundamentals in fluids, thermodynamics, and structures.
• Have experience in hardware design and/or development, including computer-aided design (CAD).
• Demonstrate familiarity with data analysis and data processing.
Requirements
• Minimum of a B.S. degree in an engineering discipline (aerospace, mechanical, chemical, or physics preferred).
• Strong technical fundamentals in fluids, thermodynamics, and structures.
• Experience in hardware design and/or development, including computer-aided design (CAD).
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
