Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cable Installation Specialist to join our team at TEKsystems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, dressing, and labeling cable throughout various projects in the valley.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Install and terminate CAT5, CAT6, and fiber optic cable
  • Dress and label cable according to industry standards
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, including data center and hospital projects

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in cable installation and termination
  • 1-5 years of experience in dressing and labeling cable
  • Commercial install experience preferred

Benefits:

  • 6 month contract to hire with potential for conversion to full-time
  • Opportunity for raises and additional benefits after 6 month contract

Tools and Equipment:

  • Basic hand tools (snips, crimps, socket set, and wrenches)
  • PPE (safety glasses, safety gloves, hard hat, and work boots)

OSHA 10 Certification: Required before starting work on site. TEKsystems can assist with certification.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5am-3:30pm
