Aquatic Safety Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Aquatic Safety Specialist to join our team at the YMCA of the Roses. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain active surveillance of the pool area while remaining on deck at all times
  • Respond to any emergency that occurs
  • Enforce all pool rules in a consistent and friendly manner
  • Organize equipment and keep pool area neat
  • Inform members about lap patterns and areas of activity
Requirements:
  • Minimum age of 15
  • Certifications: CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Basic First Aid
  • Current Lifeguard Certification
  • Ability to maintain certification-level of physical and mental readiness
