About the Role

Fidelity TalentSource LLC is seeking a skilled Front End Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our digital presence team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our web applications using Angular and Microservices in NodeJS/NestJS/GraphQL.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality front-end features and applications using Angular and Microservices.
  • Collaborate with our product team to ensure we are building the right features based on scope and customer value.
  • Contribute back to the team by developing solutions that help improve developer efficiency or sharing knowledge about new techniques and technologies.
  • Work with a variety of individuals and groups, both in person and virtually, in a constructive and collaborative manner and build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure that all code meets our high standards for quality and maintainability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies and trends, and make recommendations for their adoption in our applications.

Our team is responsible for building and contributing to Fidelity Investments' digital presence. We are a collaborative and iterative team that works in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are passionate about building high-quality software and are eager to learn and grow with our company.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Proven experience with Angular 14, RxJS, Redux/NgRx, and TypeScript.
  • Expertise in hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Cypress, Playwright, Jest, and Storybook.
  • Familiarity with developing features for our web experiences using Angular and Microservices in NodeJS/NestJS/GraphQL.
  • Critical problem-solving skills.
  • Passionate and opinionated about writing clean, testable, readable, and easily maintainable code with a test-first development approach.
  • Ability to triage, complete root cause analysis, and be decisive under pressure.
  • Ability to creatively tackle new, exciting problems in a dynamic environment.
  • Positive relationship building, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Technical acuity and engineering mentality.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and driving automation.
