  • You will engage with customers and patients, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that may arise. You will also model and share customer service best practices with your team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
  • Under the supervision of the pharmacist, you will assist in the operation of the pharmacy, including inventory management, cash handling, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • You will also be responsible for developing strong relationships with customers and healthcare providers, and for maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • As a Pharmacy Technician, you will have the opportunity to earn and maintain PTCB or ExCPT certification, and to attend training and complete PPLs requested by your manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Engage with customers and patients, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Model and share customer service best practices with team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
  • Assist in the operation of the pharmacy, including inventory management, cash handling, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and healthcare providers.

Requirements:

  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
  • Prefer good computer skills.
  • Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
  • Prefer PTCB or ExCPT certification.
