We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Technology Specialist to join our team at Red Edge, LLC.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires excellent web development skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication. As a Senior Web Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting our team of project managers, designers, and developers in planning and designing new websites, primarily using WordPress and Laravel.

You will develop reusable, easy-to-understand code, troubleshoot and resolve usability and technical issues on existing client sites, test and deploy feature and plugin updates to existing client sites, and have a high ability to self-manage task workload and ask for help when there are competing project priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and design new websites, prioritizing developer input throughout the development process
  • Develop efficient, maintainable codebases that meet client requirements
  • Identify and resolve technical issues on existing client sites, ensuring seamless user experiences
  • Test and deploy updates to client sites, ensuring timely and error-free deployments
  • Effectively manage task workload, seeking support when necessary to meet project deadlines
Requirements
  • Proven experience with website development fundamentals (CSS/SASS, PHP, JavaScript, HTML) and implementing responsive designs
  • Familiarity with WordPress, preferably with experience building themes or plugins
  • Knowledge of Figma or Sketch for design collaboration

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Compensation packages may include additional benefits and perks.
