Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist - Skilled Nursing Facility

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Aequor Technologies. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and assessing speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in residents of skilled nursing facilities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Evaluate and assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in residents of skilled nursing facilities
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing deficits
* Provide direct therapy services, including individual and group sessions, to improve speech, language, and swallowing functions
* Educate residents, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques to support communication and swallowing needs
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for residents

**Requirements:**

* Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
* Current state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
* Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred
* A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or geriatric setting
* Strong knowledge of speech, language, and swallowing disorders, particularly in the elderly population
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
