Job Overview

The Shay is seeking a highly skilled Dishware Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our dish room.

This role offers a competitive salary of $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k matching, and pet insurance.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, and pots to company specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dish room, including the dish machine and pot sinks.
  • Assist with cleaning other areas of the restaurant as needed.

In addition to your core responsibilities, you may be asked to perform other tasks, such as breaking down and cleaning the dish machine and pot sinks at the end of a shift.

Requirements
  • Ability to physically handle heavy equipment and lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Proper usage and handling of various kitchen machinery and chemicals.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
