Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and set up equipment, including uncrating, loading, unloading, and installing appliances in place (no plumbing or electrical work).
  • Services may include leveling, installing shelves, drilling, cutting holes, and finishing with silicone.
  • Interact professionally and courteously with customers, general contractors, and other laborers on job sites.
  • Drive company vehicles to make customer deliveries and stock pick-ups, following traffic laws and safety procedures.
  • Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner, following all safety rules and reporting any potentially hazardous conditions.
  • Perform other responsibilities as directed.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, an individual must meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record (no CDL required).
  • Must be at least 18 years old, 21 years old to enter some customer locations.
  • Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours, with regular attendance and possibility of mandatory overtime.
  • Mechanically inclined, with the ability to use hand and power tools.
  • Previous experience in moving, construction, or finishing work is a plus.
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Maintains a professional image and is always thoughtful, neat, and courteous.
  • Positive attitude, reliable, dependable, and punctual.
  • Must complete a DOT physical every two years.
  • Must pass pre-employment screening upon a contingent offer.

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and arms to finger, handle, feel, or carry, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Constant use of hand truck, forklift, and pallet jack.
  • Must be able to safely tolerate heat or other inclement weather.
