About the Role

We are seeking a skilled nursing professional to join our team at Northern Light CA Dean Hospital in Greenville, ME.

Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Administer prescribed medications and start intravenous fluids as needed
  • Observe patients and report changes in their conditions
  • Provide basic patient care and treatments, such as taking vital signs and performing catheterizations
  • Maintain a safe environment and report any hazards or violations of patient safety policy
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Maine
  • BLS certification
  • Graduate from an accredited LPN program
Working Conditions

This role requires lifting, moving, and loading 30 to 50 pounds, alternate shift schedules, prolonged periods of standing, and walking.
