Job Summary:

We are seeking a Highly Specialized Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician to join our established Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania Health System. The successful candidate will participate in patient safety and quality initiatives, providing excellent clinical and interpersonal skills. Opportunities for resident and medical student teaching are available, but not mandatory. The successful candidate will receive fully-covered malpractice insurance and practice in a supportive environment that provides professional and personal fulfillment and career-long learning.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide health care services on a full-time basis in owned or affiliated healthcare entities of Penn Medicine, in the tri-state region.
  • Provide outpatient and possibly inpatient hospital services as required and fulfill all medico-administrative duties associated with membership on each hospital medical staff of which clinician is a member.
  • May participate in a minimum of 50 hours per year of active and high-quality teaching or equivalent service.
  • Maintain license to practice medicine without restriction or limitation in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Requirements:

  • An M.D, D.O. or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in clinical care for a minimum of 1 year.
  • Candidate must be board certified/board eligible in Ob/Gyn and subspecialty trained and board certified/eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
  • Candidate must maintain Pennsylvania medical and DEA licensure to practice medicine without restriction or limitation as well as maintain New Jersey medical licensure, and a NJ CDS and NJ DEA.
