Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Development Principal Scientist to join our team in Somerset, NJ. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development of new drug products, including formulation and process development, literature/patent search, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead formulation and process development projects for new drug products in our R&D pipeline.
• Conduct literature/patent searches to support regulatory submissions of ANDAs and 505(b)2 NDAs.
• Apply Quality-by-Design (QbD) principles to ensure high-quality products.
• Plan, design, and conduct experiments; collect, analyze, and interpret data; draw relevant conclusions; and develop study reports.
• Collaborate with raw material manufacturers and equipment vendors to fulfill product development requirements.

Requirements

• A MS or Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• Working knowledge of pharmaceutical processing and cGMP for various pharmaceutical dosage forms.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical product development.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $95,000 to $125,000 per year, plus benefits, including:

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with supplemental pay types, including bonus pay.
