Logistics Operations Specialist

At Insight Global, we are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team.
About the RoleThis is a 12-month contract position with potential extensions, requiring a strong focus on logistics and project management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within set budgets, timelines, and scopes.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and attach necessary documentation for shipments, ensuring accurate and efficient transportation and delivery of goods.
- Evaluate truck loading to ensure safe transport and delivery of goods.
- Safely receive trucks and unload merchandise, verifying correct receipt.
- Sort materials according to size, type, or stock code and label as required.
- Identify damaged, lost, or extra goods received in the warehouse.
- Prioritize tasks to maintain productivity and inventory accuracy.
The successful candidate will work closely with field technicians, communicate shipping activities, and support the creation and management of Materials Management databases for all inventory, in and outbound hardware.
Requirements- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in related work, including inventory and logistics management.
- High school diploma required; relevant certifications a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with documentation requirements for inbound/outbound shipments.
As a valued member of our team, you can expect:
- A competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
- Benefit packages starting on the 31st day of employment, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, HSA, FSA, DCFSA account options, and 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching.
