About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Transfer Liaison Specialist to join our esteemed team. This pivotal role requires a dedicated professional who can provide comprehensive support to students navigating the intricate process of transferring from City Colleges of Chicago to four-year baccalaureate institutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Application and Scholarship Assistance: Assist students in completing transfer applications, including the Common Application and university-specific applications, while maintaining communication with university admissions offices to resolve incomplete applications before deadlines.
  • Student Transfer Success Support: Collaborate with College Advisors and the Transfer Center Director to ensure students select appropriate coursework aligned with CCC academic programs, transfer pathways, and admission requirements.
  • University Experiences & Transfer Programming: Support the Transfer Center Director in building partnerships with four-year institutions, organize campus tours and information sessions, and co-develop transfer workshops and information sessions targeting students intending to transfer.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Counseling, Education, Psychology, Social Work, Adult Education, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Additionally, three years of experience working with students in higher education, preferably within a community college setting, is required.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
