Math Professor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Math Professor to join our faculty team at Tacoma Community College. As a Math Professor, you will be responsible for preparing and teaching introductory math courses and corresponding labs. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and dedicated to student success.

This part-time faculty position is contracted on a quarterly basis. The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Teaching introductory math courses and corresponding labs;
• Developing and implementing curriculum to meet the needs of students;
• Evaluating student performance and providing feedback;
• Maintaining accurate records and submitting required reports;

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

• A Master's degree in math or a closely related field from an accredited college or university;
• Experience teaching math courses at a community college (preferable);
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse groups of people;
• A commitment to cultural awareness and sensitivity in the workplace;
• Flexibility to adapt teaching to student learning styles;
