Neurosurgeon Advanced Practice Provider

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our Neurosurgery team at Sibley Memorial Hospital, a proud member of Johns Hopkins Medicine. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive care in acute and/or chronic illness, coordinating care between in-patient and out-patient services.
Responsibilities
- Obtain appropriate histories, perform physical examinations, order diagnostic testing, and develop care and treatment plans for patients.
- Monitor quality of Neurosurgery care across the in-patient-out-patient continuum.
- Have on-call responsibilities and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Deliver high-quality patient education, staff education, and psychosocial care to patients and families.
Requirements
- Licensed to practice as a PA or an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner in the District of Columbia.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies or Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
- 1 year of APP experience required; 2 years of Neurology/Neurosurgery APP work experience preferred.
- Active Healthcare Provider BLS CPR certification.
- PECOS enrollment and CDS and DEA licenses.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $57.99 - $89.88 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
