Job Title: Lowboy Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Lowboy Driver to join our team at Blythe Development Co. As a Lowboy Driver, you will be responsible for safely loading and securing heavy equipment to transport from job site to job site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Familiarity with the safe operation of construction and/or paving equipment
  • Responsible for the safe loading and unloading of heavy equipment
  • Knowledge of all USDOT and FMCSA regulations
  • Perform daily safety checks of fluid levels for leaks and damage prior to operation
  • Notify supervisor if vehicle requires repair
  • Ability to calculate weights of equipment with truck/trailer combo to stay within DOT permitting restrictions and guidelines
  • Ability to safely drive a water truck, flat bed and/or other commercial vehicles as required

Requirements:

  • Valid Class A CDL and driving record within MVR policy guidelines
  • Current Medical Examiners Certificate (FMCSR part)
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry 50+ lbs
  • Preferred: lowboy experience
