Job Summary

The Director of Marketing and Communication is responsible for the image and reputation of Holy Cross Family Ministries (HCFM) and to develop, plan, implement, and evaluate the overall marketing strategy for the organization.

About the Role

This role manages a team of External Relations and Marketing professionals to develop, execute, and evaluate strategic marketing plans for specific products, events, programs, and services, including plans for the general promotion of HCFM. The Director will create and execute effective strategies to promote the mission and ministries of HCFM.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop, plan, implement, and evaluate the overall marketing strategy for the organization
  2. Manage a team of External Relations and Marketing professionals to develop, execute, and evaluate strategic marketing plans
  3. Create and execute effective strategies to promote the mission and ministries of HCFM
  4. Serve as a news media liaison and/or spokesperson for the organization
  5. Work with IT and other department leaders to design, develop, implement, and revise HCFM websites
Requirements
  • A committed Catholic in good standing eager to carry out the mission of Venerable Patrick Peyton
  • Familiarity with Catholic media outlets and influencers
  • Educational background typically gained through completing a Bachelor's or MBA degree in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, or Business
  • An accomplished Communication Executive with a working knowledge of new media, marketing, public relations, and communications practices and principles
